We provide an atmosphere conducive to creative research and education that enable new chemical engineering solutions to protect the environment and enhance public welfare. Our discovery, technology development and entrepreneurial activities are use-inspired and increasingly transdisciplinary, teaming chemical engineers with professionals in other disciplines. We provide each student with a strong foundation in chemical engineering and encourage students to individualize their education through courses, research and discovery, cross-discipline exploration, internships, service learning, and professional society activities. We serve the chemical engineering profession and society as a whole through educational opportunities, sponsored research and technical assistance.
